At The Crossroad of My Life with ‘Crossroads’

On the threshold of 2019, I summoned the courage to look back at my choices and decisions, successes and failures, reflections and realisations in 2018 only to find myself at a crossroad which warrants significant changes made to my enigmatic life. Ruminating about what sort of changes I wanted in the new year, I made a list of the things that I love and the things that I detested. Besides, spicy and delicious food, beverages including wine and modest houses to live in, I love my dresses and other clothing items from Crossroads.

I have experienced all kinds of emotions in life while wearing the Crossroads collection. Whether it be happiness, sadness, frustration, anger, vengefulness, kindness, generosity, leniency, etc., I have always been draped comfortably in one of those. Being a size 16, I have never shied away from Crossroads dresses, tops, jackets, skirts or pants as it pronounced smartness, being in the trend and most important of all made me feel good from within. No matter what season it was, whether summer, winter, spring or autumn these dresses defined my identity in a certain unexplained manner.  

It would not come as a surprise to you if I told you that my new year’s resolution revolves around my Crossroads wardrobe, which is to shed a few kilos so that I would be a perfect fit in these well knit and fashionably designed clothes. As part of the weight loss goal, I have resolved to reduce the number of drinks I usually consume. I have learnt to keep my resolutions to a bare minimum due to my failed attempts in the past in the hope that I would achieve all my resolutions.  I would like to continue to be open- minded, as reflected
by my Crossroads wardrobe, ready to explore innovative ventures, new relationships and have higher aspirations. Happy New Year to all like-minded people.
